Welcome to Simple Photography Guide. Its just back back up again after being down for so long. I'm still trying to adjust some lose ends. I will be sharing with you all a simple and easy to understand guide of photography. If you have just gotten yourself a new camera, decided that it’s time to learn how to take good pictures out of your old camera or even just searching some info on photography, here is the best place for you.
The fastest way for you to master your camera is to have a photo notebook or journal. This way you could keep all your notes and ideas so that you will be able to do future reference.
First: Get a small notebook so that you can keep it inside a camera bag. It should not be something big and bulky. Something like the 555 notepad shown below is perfect.
Second: Before taking a photo, make a note of what you want the final result to be and make a list of the suitable camera and lens settings. You start off with a concept, styling, the shoot and the light you want.
Third: Create the photo.
Fourth: Compare the end results with your creative vision. If it matches, make a small tick or comment for future reference. Now you can replicate that picture any time you want just by looking in your notebook.
Fifth: If it wasn’t what you were trying to create, try to change the concept a little and retake the photo. After a few attempts you will get the photo you want and would have discovered more ideas on creating photos far more than you’d imagine.
